 The Blackmers and Spradlins met in 2004 after Josh and Cara moved to West Palm Beach. They worshiped together at Palm Beach Lakes church of Christ and built close relationships over the next three years. During that time, the Blackmers and Spradlins decided to go into the mission field together.
For a period of 6 months, the team met every Wednesday night to pray and establish plans for full-time mission work. The team still maintains close contact and conducts scheduled meetings.

 Josh and Cara Blackmer met at Freed-Hardeman University and were married on May 18, 2002. They have two children, Josiah (5) and Vivian (3). Josh was born in Pocatello, Idaho to Kelly and Angela Blackmer. His father is currently an elder with the La Grange church of Christ in La Grange, Texas. His grandfather, Leon Bridges, is a missionary in the Northwest. Josh attended Southwest School of Bible Studies in Austin, Texas, and then earned a Bachelor of Arts in Bible from Freed-Hardeman University in 2004.
Josh is currently an evangelist with the Palm Beach Lakes church of Christ in West Palm Beach, Florida. Cara was born in Springfield, Missouri to Kenneth and Connie Tipton. Her father has served as an elder in two congregations. Cara attended Freed-Hardeman University from 1998-2004 receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education and a Master of Arts in School Counseling. While at Freed-Hardeman, both Josh and Cara shared the desire and realized the importance of missions.

Troy and Andrea Spradlin Biography |

 Troy and Andrea Spradlin met in April of 1994 in West Pam Beach, Florida and were married on October 7, 1995.
Troy was born in Ft. Worth, Texas to Dwayne and A'Gatha Spradlin. His father is a preacher of the Gospel in North Texas. Troy attended Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX, as a commercial art major. After college, Troy performed as a professional musician, recorded two albums and toured the greater part of the United States. He then transitioned to an Audio Visual contractor with Peerson Audio in West Palm Beach, FL. He recently attended and graduated from Southwest School of Bible Studies in Austin, Texas.
Andrea was born in West Palm Beach, Florida to George and Joyce Parker. She went to Palm Beach Community College and then the University of Florida where she received two degrees: B.A. in Business Administration and B.S. in Recreation Parks and Tourism specializing in Event Management and Tourism Development. Since graduating, she has worked for the Boys and Girl's Clubs in Florida, and also for the American Lung Association in both Florida and Texas. Andrea recently worked at World Video Bible School in Texas. She also received a Certificate of Completion for the Women's Study Program at Southwest School of Bible Studies. |

The current team consists of Chris and Vickie Fry (left), Perry Hardin (middle, standing), Bittnae Dye (middle, seated), Enoch and Laura Rinks (right). The team is now in a period of transition. Most of the team members are at the end of their five-year commitment in Asuncion, Paraguay.
They are now actively recruiting and praying for others to get involved and continue the work in Paraguay.
Chris and Vickie Fry are committed to continue the work during the transition of new team members, allowing for better continuity.
